Philosophy: My philosophy is simple: I want every patient and their family to feel heard and
genuinely cared for, and for each person to leave feeling better than when they came in. I want my patients to know that their quality of life and personal goals matter just as much to me as they do to them. This belief is what drives me to provide the best care and support possible. Because to me, great care isn’t just about treatment; it’s about making people feel seen, supported, and hopeful.
Bio: I was drawn to prosthetics and orthotics through a combination of creativity and a
genuine interest in helping people move through the world with more confidence.
While completing my bachelor’s degree, I worked in a therapy clinic for children
with special needs in rural Indiana. This is where I was first introduced to orthotic devices.
I still remember the excitement when an orthotist would travel over an hour to
deliver AFOs and KAFOs, and how the kids would light up showing each other the
different patterns they had chosen. That experience made a lasting impression on
me and ultimately set the direction for my career.
I completed my BA in Kinesiology and Physiology in 2017 from Hanover College,
followed by my MS in Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2021 from CSUDH. I then
completed my residency with Ottobock in Los Angeles before relocating to
Arizona. While I have experience working with patients of all ages, I have
naturally gravitated toward pediatrics, where I feel most connected to my work. I
prioritize building meaningful relationships with patients and their families, so they
feel comfortable, understood, and supported throughout their care. Being a bit of a
kid at heart, I still enjoy spending time outdoors, playing video games, and
painting, which helps me connect with the children I work with in a genuine way.
At the center of my work is the belief that the patient experience matters just as
much as the device itself.
