Boston Orthotics & Prosthetics is pleased to announce that its VP and Director of Education Jim Wynne will be presenting a 1-hour workshop: “Managing Idiopathic, Neuromuscular and Congenital Scoliosis with the Boston Brace 3D® Systems” at the AOPA’s 2020 National Assembly.
This year, the AOPA National Assembly will be in a virtual format due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Virtual National Assembly will feature a virtual exhibit hall where attendees will be able to live chat and live video conference, and will also feature product showcases and displays. Jim Wynne’s presentation will cover the teachable, repeatable techniques developed by Boston O&P pediatric clinical experts to provide scoliosis patients with the best possible outcome. Scanning and case studies of patients with various diagnoses will be reviewed.
Jim Wynne, CPO, FAAOP, lectures both nationally and internationally on the non-operative management of scoliosis and has authored several book chapters and peer review articles on the topic. He is a past president of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics and is the current President Elect II for SOSORT, the International Society on Scoliosis Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Treatment.
